The second edition of the new Hibiki Harmony Blossom, the 2022 release, has been out for a while now and we got our hands on it! With Japanese Whisky supply still not able to keep up with world wide demand, Suntory choose to release the Hibiki Harmony Blossom 2022 as ballot offerings and only to the local market in Japan. Last years turnout of the original Harmony Blossom 2021 release 10.000 bottles saw the light. This years number is a significant contrast with the latter and limited to 1000 bottles! So unless Suntory has more planned releases it is going to be a lot harder to get your hands on one of these outside Japan.
"It is a special "Hibiki" that has been blended with thought to suit a celebratory event. A delicate blend of various undiluted whisky with a variety of personalities , accented by the rare long-term aged grain undiluted whisky that has been aged in Sakura barrels . When you open the seal, it has a fragrant scent reminiscent of flowers. It features a harmonious and round taste and a rich finish with a refreshing taste."
